WHO IS TRUMJOCKE?

Born 1970 and raised in Gothenburg Sweden in the early 70´s. I travelled with my parents to the eastcoast of Sweden in 1976 where we settled in the city of Gävle and I´ve been here ever since.

Started to bash the drums as an youngster in 1979 and I have kept swingin the “tomtoms” in every different way , more or less professionally, from the early eighties up to present day.

My music career spans from delta blues rhythmeen to blastbeats in progressive hardrock.

Nowadays I settle with a punkrock cover act, a deltablues quartet and as icing on the cake, my own southern american bluesrock band.

Throughout the years my music interest has been a growing thing with new purchases of vinylrecords every odd week. Focusing on early 70´s and 80´s blues, progressive, hard, classic and heavy rock. The well of those musical gems is no near of drying out. I am no stranger to new music in the same genre but sometimes it feels like I have heard it all before. But, we all have our influences.

Read, laugh, weep, get angry but most important, remember, as I reflect on recordings over the years from a drummers perspective.
